Francis Henry Scott

The youngest child of Lemuel and Lucy Scott, known to the family as Henry, was born July 10, 1887, in Bracebridge. He was baptized at the Methodist Church by Rev. W. G. Howson in Bracebridge on April 4, 1888, and died just ten days later on April 14 from pneumonia. 

As with his elder brother, Frankie, a death photo was taken. The cause of death was noted by Eletta Scott Dixon, who wrote on the photo taken by R. W. Ryan. As noted on the photo card, Lucy had just given birth to Henry and was in what was called the confinement period when Frankie, age eight, died of diphtheria.
