Family history has been my passion since I retired. I have no desire to have the largest family tree on Ancestry, nor do I wish to connect with every person on the planet with whom I share some DNA. I simply wish to share some of the stories of my ancestors and their extended families – to know and understand the lives they lived in the time they lived in order to appreciate their struggles, their heartaches, and their joys.
